We are currently seeking a
Compliance Manager
to join our office located either in New York, NY; Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA.


COMPLIANCE MANAGER - New York, NY; Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA



Responsibilities:



Develop training tools for implementation across the account to ensure all personnel are adequately trained in the necessary operations and compliance requirements

Work closely with account analysts, develop reports to monitor and track compliance

Identify, develop and implement additional processes and procedures as required to manage risk for critical facilities

Identify any changes in working practice which will be as a result of the implementation of the process or procedure; obtain approval from all relevant parties for the change

Produce the necessary processes, compliances and procedures in the agreed time frame to a high and accurate standard for the approval of account management prior to implementation

Implement the processes, compliances and procedures providing any necessary training and closely monitoring the implementation

Manage change of practice where required to fit with the process, compliances or procedure implementation

Put in place a continuous monitoring / tracking process to continue the improvement of all processes and ensure the account attains and remains as best in class

Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with all client representatives and service providers on the process and compliances; this should include: Building Operations and Maintenance, Security, Owner`s Representatives, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors across the portfolio

Actively execute processes in such a manner as to eliminate the Jones Lang LaSalle Process and Development Management group`s exposure for engaging in less than optimal courses of action on behalf of the Clients required guidelines and requirements

Provide assistance and guidance to all members of the Team, as needed




Requirements:



Bachelors degree in relevant field, and 10 or more years experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience

Formal qualification in either Engineering or Process Management and in excess of 10 years experience. Experience should have been gained by having worked for Process Compliance Management within the facilities industry/ Construction firms and by having worked for an MEP Consultant or a Commissioning Management firm with experience of permit to work procedures

Demonstrated leadership / management skills

Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills

Ability to work independently and to effectively handle multiple priorities

Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication/presentation skills

Competent use of software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, CAD Lite, Microsoft Project, Publisher, and other supporting software as necessary)

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Good interpersonal skills, confident, sense of humor, and experience in influencing others.

Proactive and positive attitude with a calm and methodical approach to work.

Team player that interacts effectively with colleagues, process teams and clients.
